How It All Started
Ghost Misadventures began as a doodle on a napkin during a particularly boring Tuesday. The premise was simple: what if ghosts were just as confused and undignified in death as they were in life?
The first strip went up in 2024 with zero expectations and somehow found an audience of people who also believe the afterlife is probably just as chaotic as everything else.
New strips drop every week. The ghosts have not gotten better at haunting. We are all rooting for them.
The Ghosts
Gerald
The OptimistGerald died convinced he'd be a terrifying ghost. He is not. He once spent three weeks trying to slam a door and it just slowly creaked shut. He considers this a win.
Ethel
The RealistEthel has been dead for 60 years and has strong opinions about everything. She haunts with the energy of someone who has seen it all and is deeply unimpressed.
Mort
The New GuyMort died last year and is still figuring out the rules. There are no rules. Ethel told him there were rules. There are not rules. Ethel finds this hilarious.
I just wanted to draw ghosts being embarrassing. It turns out a lot of people relate to that.
The Creator
Ghost Misadventures is written and drawn by someone who thinks about ghosts way too much. The comic updates every week, rain or shine, haunting or no haunting.
